Hello! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Elana Kathryn Waite. And that’s Elana. Not Eleanor. Not Elan. Not Elena. Not Elaine the pain. Eeee-lah-na. And trust me, I’ve heard every variation possible. Starbucks have opted for Eloha previously… I came into this world on the 30th of October 1997. And yes, that’s the day before Halloween. I used to get upset about my birthday as kid because whenever I had a birthday party, people would turn up dressed as witches and ghosts and it took the attention away from me. I guess I’ve always been a drama queen. I am a Scorpio which fits me perfectly – yes, I totally connect with my star sign. (I’m a moon/sun Scorpio & rising Leo if you’re interested). I live in the South East of England with my Mum, Dad and younger brother.
Once upon a time, my little spot on the internet was born. It’s my space to express myself, write about pretty things, share everything important to me and to occasionally ramble about some crap. As of August 2017, I am supervised and managed by Natalie of NA Digital Talent.
I am creative. I’m a perfectionist. I live for organisation, routine and cleanliness. Monica Geller is my spirit animal. I am not a morning person. I love a quiz – it really brings out my competitive side. I used to have a phobia of stickers. I’m right-handed. My favourite milkshake flavour is vanilla. Majorca is my favourite place on earth. I have a dangerous appreciation of make-up and my bank account does not like me for it. I splurge on skincare regularly. I abuse my ASOS premier delivery way too much. My favourite season is autumn. I’m a fan of a cocktail or five – particularly a mojito. I used to believe I was a true Gryffindor but now I think I’m probably half Ravenclaw too. I’ve been a Taylor Swift fan since I was 10 and I will 100% fight you if you have a problem with her. My favourite shows of all time are How I Met Your Mother, This Is England or The Vampire Diaries. My favourite film is Cemetery Junction. I wish I had more time in the day.
I study Film, Radio & Television Studies at University. My determination is one of my greatest assets. My ultimate goals in life are to buy myself a Kate Spade bag, move out/build a home and to fully accept myself for who I am. I have many flaws but for the most part I’ve accepted them. I battle with hypothyroidism, alopecia, anxiety and depression every single day. I practice self love, body positivity and I put my mental health first. I’m a passionate feminist and consider myself political and opinionated. I’m constantly working on myself.
